The New Horizons Twirlers have been active baton twirlers in the Rockland County area for 30 years.  Twirlers have participated in local parades and exhibitions, as well as local, New York State, Northeast Regional, North Atlantic Regional, National and World Championship competitions.  Top honors include first through third place awards at the 2008 Twirlmania in Walt Disney World, Top Ten awards in the World at the 2007 America’s Youth on Parade at Notre Dame University, and silver medals at the 2006 AAU Junior Olympic Games.  The team will be participating in the 2009 USTA National Championships in Tucson, AZ this July.
